When time is short: our marstall Wiesen-Chips are the quick alternative to our tried-and-tested Wiesen-Cobs. You get chopped, warm-air-dried Allgäu hay fibres pressed into chips, which soften quickly.
Wiesen-Chips are high-fibre chips suitable for all horses.
For our chips, we rely on species-rich natural meadows in the Allgäu: the late cut and gentle processing ensure a high crude fibre content that supports digestion. With no additives and thanks to the low protein and fructane content, our Wiesen-Chips are also ideally suited to sensitive horses.
A tip from our stable family: our soaked Wiesen-Chips are perfect for hiding medication or similar.

As a high-quality hay substitute
approximately 1.0 to 1.5 kg per 100 kg body weight/day
1 kg marstall Wiesen-Chips replaces 1 kg hay
marstall Wiesen-Chips from the Allgäu region stand out for their versatile uses and can be used as a complete hay substitute or as a supplement to the staple feed ration. As a hay substitute, marstall Wiesen-Chips are also very convenient to take along to tournaments and when travelling. They represent a proven alternative in the event of hay and straw shortages.
At the start, slowly increase the amount of dry Wiesen-Chips or, for hasty eaters, senior horses and horses reluctant to drink, generally pour 1.0 to 2.0 litres of water over 1.0 litre of Wiesen-Chips and allow to soak. Very short soaking time!
