A handful of structural fibre, please: marstall Wiesen-Fasern are chopped, warm-air-dried, loose hay fibres from Allgäu meadows, which stimulate chewing activity and thus benefit both the stomach and the wellbeing of your horse. They can also be fed dry.
Wiesen-Fasern add structural fibre to the feed ration and are suitable for all horses.
For our palatable Wiesen-Fasern, we use exclusively species-rich hay from Allgäu highland meadows. And for good reason: thanks to the late cut, the Wiesen-Fasern are very high in crude fibre and low in fructanes. You can mix the 1-2 cm long chaff into the concentrate feed without soaking, to stimulate your horse's chewing activity and extend feeding time. The fibres also provide additional crude fibre for a stable hindgut flora.

As a high-quality hay substitute
approximately 1.0 to 1.5 kg per 100 kg body weight/day
marstall Wiesen-Fasern from the Allgäu region stand out for their versatile uses and can be used as a complete hay substitute or as a supplement to the staple feed ration. As a hay substitute, marstall Wiesen-Fasern are also very practical to take along to competitions and when travelling. They represent a proven alternative in the event of hay and straw shortages.
marstall Wiesen-Fasern can be fed dry. However, particularly when introducing them into the diet and when feeding larger quantities, we recommend soaking them: pour approximately 1 to 2 litres of water over 1.0 kg of Wiesen-Fasern, depending on the desired consistency. No soaking time is required!
