Is your horse suffering from hoof and skin problems or a dull coat? Our marstall Biotin & Zinc sustainably improves the quality of hoof horn, skin and coat. We have chosen biotin, zinc and the sulphur-containing amino acid methionine – an optimal combination for an elastic horn structure with high tensile strength.
Biotin & Zinc is a grain-free feed supplement for horses with hoof, skin and coat problems.
Many horses struggle with poor horn quality: hooves that are soft and mushy, or brittle and cracked. This is often accompanied by a dull, lustreless coat, excessive hair loss and/or skin problems. If no cause can be identified in the horse's management conditions, a feed-related deficiency of biotin, zinc and amino acids is frequently to blame – especially when the problems persist over a longer period. To help these horses, we developed a supplement with carefully selected ingredients: our Biotin & Zinc. It is also suitable for heavily pregnant and lactating mares as well as foals – ensuring they receive an adequate supply of zinc, biotin and methionine.
Tip
Did you know? A biotin deficiency can also develop as a result of disrupted gut flora – so it is worth investigating the underlying cause when deficiency symptoms arise.
