When your horse sweats heavily or has diarrhoea, it loses more than just water – it loses strength: for exactly this situation, we have developed marstall Elektrolyte. Our grain-free pellets supply your horse with vital electrolytes after excessive sweating or during severe diarrhoea.
Elektrolyte is a grain-free feed supplement for horses that sweat heavily or have diarrhoea.
Our formula stands out through rapidly available magnesium compounds. The convenient pellets are incredibly easy to feed – simply mixed into your horse's hard feed or dissolved in water. Especially in challenging situations. Did you know that horses can lose over 30 litres of sweat in heat or under heavy exertion? At the same time, they flush out large quantities of electrolytes – vital helpers in the body: electrolytes are involved in all cell functions, regulate the body's fluid balance and blood pH, and are indispensable for nerve and muscle function. No wonder that horses can respond to high electrolyte losses with sudden drops in performance. With marstall Elektrolyte, you can quickly replenish losses and support your horse's body.

over approximately 2 to 3 months, e.g. during training phases or in summer
Small horse/pony
25 g = ~1.00 MS/day
Thoroughbred
40 g = ~1.50 MS/day
Warmblood
55 g = ~2.00 MS/day
1 level measuring spoon (MS) of marstall Elektrolyte = approximately 25 grams
With high sweat loss
situational, e.g. during peak performance or extreme heat
Small horse/pony
40 g = ~1.50 MS/day

50 g = ~2.00 MS/day

75 g = ~3.00 MS/day
Feeding tips
Dietary supplement for horses to compensate for electrolyte losses due to excessive sweating. Seek the advice of an expert before feeding. Water must be freely available for a period of 20 minutes, or preferably for one hour after administration.
Ration recommendation
For feeding, we base our recommendations on the latest guidance and assume a minimum roughage intake (hay) of 1.5 kg per 100 kg live weight/day.
