Folic acid

The chemical name for vitamin B9 is folic acid. It is important for cell division and maturation, particularly for the formation of blood cells and in embryonic development.

Free radicals

Free radicals are molecules that damage the cell membrane.

Fructans

Fructans are energy-rich sugar molecules in plants.
