pcvXP
pcvXP is the abbreviation for precaecal, i.e. before the large intestine, crude protein (XP) digestible in the small intestine. Only its amino acids can be utilised by the horse. This is why marstall states the small intestine digestible crude protein separately in the feed declaration as pcv crude protein.
