The combination of hydrothermally treated flaked grains and high-quality speciality pellets makes this feed easily digestible and versatile.
Haferfrei is the ideal basis for daily feeding – individually adaptable for every horse.
Whether fed on its own or combined with grains: Haferfrei always adapts to the needs of your horse. The specially balanced calcium-to-phosphorus ratio of 3:1 optimises simple grain rations. Thanks to its double mineral and vitamin content, our traditional muesli is also ideal for a cost-saving 1:1 mix with oats, pellets or other types of grains and muesli. Thanks to the high-quality ingredients and essential trace elements, the concentrate ration can even be reduced. Whether for a leisure horse or a sport horse: Haferfrei is versatile, reliable and ideal for individual feeding plans – so that your horse feels truly comfortable at every stage of life.

Feeding recommendation as a sole feed supplement
Light work
~250 to 300 g per 100 kg live weight/day
Moderate work
~350 to 500 g per 100 kg live weight/day
Example ration per day for a horse with a live weight of 600 kg
As a sole feed supplement for hay
Light work
~1.5 to 1.7 kg
Moderate work
~2.0 to 3.0 kg
1 litre of marstall Haferfrei = approximately 525 grams
In combination with oats and hay
Light work
1.0 kg Haferfrei + 0.5 to 1.0 kg oats
Moderate work
2.0 kg Haferfrei + 1.0 to 1.5 kg oats
Feeding tips
All feed quantities stated should be divided into several small portions throughout the day. Our recommendations are generally based on a roughage (hay) ratio of 1.50 kg per 100 kg live weight/day.
Ration recommendation
For feeding, we base our recommendations on the latest guidance and assume a minimum roughage intake (hay) of at least 1.5 kg per 100 kg live weight per day. The stated feed quantities should be divided into at least 2 portions and fed throughout the day.
