Is your horse suffering from stress-related stomach issues? No surprise there! Our stable family knows all too well that physical and psychological stress frequently puts strain on the sensitive digestive tract. With ProGastro, we have developed a feed for horses with sensitive stomachs.
ProGastro is specially formulated for horses with a sensitive digestive tract.
Our specialist feed supports to soothe the stomach lining, regulate the production of gastric acid, and maintain the natural processes in the gut. Here is how we have composed the feed on the basis of scientific findings: free radical scavengers – most notably vitamin C and vitamin E – can reduce oxidative stress. Our ProGastro complex also increases the concentration of mucus in the gastric fluid, which contributes to protecting the stomach lining from aggressive acid. The combination of magnesium hydroxide, pectin-lecithin complex, and live yeast completes the formula, providing targeted support for the stomach (Köller et al. 2010) and a balanced gastrointestinal environment.
Tip
Good to know: ProGastro can be combined with medications such as omeprazole without any concerns (Kohler et al. 2010). Customers have had the best results when feeding ProGastro shortly before exercise.

Feeding tips
This feed supplement for horses may only be fed in accordance with the recommendations given here, due to its higher content of trace elements and vitamins compared with complete feed!
Ration recommendation
For feeding, we base our recommendations on the latest guidance and assume a minimum roughage intake (hay) of at least 1.5 kg per 100 kg live weight per day. The stated feed quantities should be divided into at least 2 portions and fed throughout the day. Administer mixed with concentrate feed (e.g. Sinfonie) or Mash.
