With Freizeit, we at marstall have put together the perfect muesli for your horse in light work: cost-effective, versatile and made with easily digestible flaked grains. The low energy and protein content, combined with a high proportion of crude fibre and essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements, makes Freizeit ideal for needs-based feeding.
Freizeit is a low-protein muesli for horses in light work.
A muesli like Freizeit, with plenty of crude fibre and low energy and protein content, is ideal for horses that are easy doer or do little work but tolerate grains. Our stable family has chosen hydrothermally processed flaked grains that are easy for your horse's digestive system to handle. Essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements are also included – can help to supplement the low levels of copper, zinc and selenium typically found in German hay. Freizeit is equally suitable for horses kept in stables, at pasture or in open housing..
Tip 1
If the recommended amount of Freizeit is not provided, the shortfall in minerals and vitamins can be supplemented with marstall Force, MineralOrganic+ or seasonally with Stall-Riegel or Weide-Riegel.
Tip 2
If your horse requires more energy or protein – for example due to regular riding, lungeing or driving – Freizeit can be supplemented with grains, marstall Amino-Muskel, marstall Lein-Öl or a marstall muesli from the Sport Line.

Feeding tips
All feed quantities stated should be divided into several small portions and fed throughout the day.
Our recommendations are generally based on a roughage (hay) ratio of 1.50 kg per 100 kg live weight/day.
Ration recommendation
For feeding, we base our recommendations on the latest guidance and assume a minimum roughage intake (hay) of at least 1.5 kg per 100 kg live weight per day. The stated feed quantities should be divided into at least 2 portions and fed throughout the day.
