Easily digestible, grain-free and rich in vitamins and minerals: marstall Senior-Aktiv has been developed specifically for the physical needs of your senior horse and supports the maintenance and rebuilding of body condition. Digestion and the immune system are supported. The composition and levels of vitamins and minerals are carefully tailored to the increased requirements of older horses.
Senior-Aktiv is a grain-free conditioning muesli – not just for older horses.
Senior-Aktiv provides ample energy and important, easily digestible amino acids – excellent support for the musculature and body condition of your senior horse, particularly during the coat change or the cooler months. At the same time, our specialist feed stimulates chewing activity and supports healthy digestion.
Two ingredients were simply essential for our muesli: alongside linseed, we have included a generous portion of special dietary fibres such as mannan oligosaccharides (MOS) and ß-glucans in Senior-Aktiv – these components of brewer's yeast cell walls form, according to studies, an intact biofilm on the intestinal mucosa that acts as a barrier against harmful substances. MOS can also bind mycotoxins and pathogens in the gut and serve as prebiotic nutrition for beneficial gut bacteria. Three outstanding features that can support your horse's immune system.
Our senior muesli is rich in important vitamins such as vitamin A and vitamin E, as well as minerals that older horses need in order to stay healthy and vital. Zinc, copper, manganese and selenium are included in an organic and therefore highly bioavailable form. In our fibre-rich, starch- and sugar-reduced recipe, we have avoided molasses, alfalfa and grains – should your horse have metabolic issues, Senior-Aktiv is also an ideal choice.

For dental problems
Senior-Aktiv can of course also be fed soaked. Soaked meadow cobs make a suitable forage ration alongside it.
Would you like a little more?
The grain-free ration can be supplemented with Bergwiesen-Mash (without grains) – this provides an easy digestible addition. If your horse requires more energy, we recommend our marstall Lein-Öl.

Ration recommendation
For feeding, we base our recommendations on the latest guidance and assume a minimum roughage intake (hay) of at least 1.5 kg per 100 kg live weight per day. The stated feed quantities should be divided into at least 2 portions and fed throughout the day.

Mega Futter!!!!
Seit mein Wallach das Senior-Aktiv Futter bekommt ist er voller Energie, sein Fell glänz und ich habe das Gefühl das er vollkommen zufrieden ist. Auch hat er deutlich an Muskulatur aufgebaut und rennt mit seinen Kumpels (die um einiges jünger sind) über die Weide als wäre er 5 Jahre.
Bin mega überzeugt von diesem Futter und kann es in jeglicher Form weiter Empfehlen!!!
